This is our second fairly basic and straight forward style of site. It includes five (5) links that link a "home page" with four (4) other pages. There are two distinct types of looks though, which are also utilized in "styles III & IV". One type has graphical buttons as a navigational interface (gui - graphical user interface), while the other doesn't use graphics at all. This second type uses a trick that makes ordinary textual links not underlined (like here), bold, and one color when a new link, then not bold and a different color when they've been clicked on. Also this second type utilizes a trick when browsed from within Internet Explorer only. (You may have noticed this on our hosting home page) When you roll over each link cell it changes colors as well as the link, giving it a more interactive feel.

Our fourth and most advanced style can be used very effectively with the Gold hosting plans 15 item ShopSite Lite shopping cart, when each product is to have it's own page, or when there is allot of information ("content is king - key") to be offered. Later when you have more products then the alloted 15, you can easily be upgraded or you can purchase the "Gold Manager IV" or "Gold Pro IV" package.

You can add an ecommerce solution later if you don't choose the one Style IV above that includes a shopping cart, or if you want a more advanced solution. Essentially we offer two eCommerce packages; one that is only a shopping cart software solution for which we use ShopSite by Open Market as our partner; the other is a full eCommerce solution that adds secured certificates and the payment gateway connected to your merchant account.

Our media department can create whiz bang media that "snaps" to your end users. In the example below you can see a sample of the media types from an interactive slide show. This is an addition we recommend after an initial site is created, and you either want to create that site as a Flash site as well, or want added flair in the way of 3D objects or simple messaging through a combination of Flash animation, 3D interfacing, banner ads, video presentations and more...

QuickTime is a great solution for viewing movies due to "alternates" which allow individual data rates per each end users modem/connection speed. QuickTime also unbeknown to many, allows Flash to be imported in it, making it interactive within itself; although you can just use other wired QT movies the same way. You can also make it save disabled, have extensive copyright and trademark information embedded, use it to change other web pages within frames (as our "Domaine Chandon Sunset Series" example shows), or create a newspaper like "read" where the end user gets to a picture and clicks on it and it immediately plays within the page or separate window to utilize "alternates". You can even use QT as an interactive "shopping cart", ticker tape, game, story book, etc. that gets called out from a web page into the QT player with a customized "skin".

EXAMPLE This multimedia slide show gives examples of different kinds of interactive elements we have created for our clients within an interface that is itself interactive through the use of javascripting. This slide show could be used as an interface to demonstrate and sell real estate for instance by having the tabs at the bottom with price ranges that when clicked on gives the end user looking for a house, choices only within the range they choose, and then within each "slide" they get information such as how many rooms, etc. and then for "movie" they would get a virtual walk through when they click on the link.
